Manion’s Deemed Essential

Manion’s Deemed Essential

Thankfully Essential and allowed to Remain Open

Minnesota Governor issued The “Stay at Home” Executive order yesterday for Minnesota through April 10th. Manion’s is an Essential Business and will remain open to serve you during these trying times.

We are open and operating based on the following excerpts from the CISA memorandum:

MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE, written and signed on March 19th, 2020, by Christopher C. Krebs, Director Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a division of U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce

Workers who support the manufacture and distribution of forest products, including but not limited to timber, paper, and other wood products.

Employees of firms providing services that enable logistic operations, including cooling, storing, packaging, and distributing products for wholesale or retail sale or use.

With that being said, there are precautions we are using to keep our employees safe and ask your assistance in helping with this process. Our drivers have been directed and reminded to practice social distancing. They may ask for a name instead of a signature of an employee at your yard for the paperwork. They are trying to call ahead to see what your receiving protocols are, everyone has a different system in place at this time. We will continue to update you over the coming weeks of changes here at Manion’s.
